Current project: Preparation for a long trip in Australia

For helping us: Spiruline Vagabonde

Spirulina Vagabonde. If the algo culture became nomadic

The first traces of settlement are about 9000 years ago with the birth of agriculture. And if in 2014, our movements became a way to grow? And if agriculture became nomadic...

We wanted to continue in our project by choosing a new mission: go to Australia. Thus on February 18, 2014, we fly to a new adventure...

The mission will be to go to the meeting of the farms of spirulina but also to inform and to share our knowledge. And what better way for this to have its own small operation of micro algae.

Difficult when element throughout our course will be using a vehicle designed to travel independently. But difficult is not impossible! And the idea will be to implement the aquarium glass to cultivate our micro alga. Cultivate and share to perhaps develop new farms in a country that prepared so well.

After the exhibition at the Pavillon de L'arsenal in Paris, we made contact with X-TU' Agency who presented the prototype of algo bags. Our project has attracted some members of the bureau, and Enkidou was received on 15 January by Olivier Scheffer, Director of research and development of X-TU and Joan Tarragon Architecte, X-TU. We are now in collaboration.

-A country and continent: the Australia is 14 times larger than the France.

-An ideal climate: A rate of maximum sunshine.

-A possibility of visa allowing us to stay a year (Work and Holiday Visa)

-Spirulina disregarded: despite its ideal climate for cultivation of spirulina, it is still present on Australian territory. Only a few farms with a huge: Australian Spirulina Darwin Farm against a hundred of French farms.

-Danger to radioactive contamination zone: Spirulina was used to fight against radioactivity. Indeed during the Chernobyl incident, spirulina was distributed to children, and the levels of radioactivity in their urine to significantly diminished.

-Many universities specialized in cyanobacteria
